1. How To Change Mpesa Transaction Using The SMS code 456
After you have noticed that you have sent your money to the wrong person, immediately forward that confirmation message to 456.
This will begin the process of reversing the transaction you made to the wrong number.
There are no charges applied when using this SMS code 456.
This means you can retrieve your money within the shortest possible time.
Safaricom will respond in less than five minutes, telling you they have received your message, and they have started working on it.
Using the SMS shortcode 456 is pretty fast, but you need to take note of a few things.
Depending on the time of the day, sometimes it only takes 2 hours to reverse the money.
However, when it late at night you will have to wait until the next day morning.
Because of that, it is advisable to reverse your Mpesa transactions made to the wrong number during the day.
Even at night, you need to do it as early as possible when using the shortcode 456.

2. Using Mpesa Confirm Number
Safaricom gives 25-seconds after you have sent the money to confirm if you have sent.

5. Request Reversal of Your Mpesa Withdrawal Online
You can also make a reversal request online through the Safaricom official website and have your issue sorted out.
Follow these steps to reverse your Mpesa transactions online:
Step 1. Visit the Safaricom self-care website https:/selfcare.safaricom.co.ke/Home. Action
Step 2. Click on a live chat tab on the left side of the homepage.

Once this happens, be sure that your request will be handled; only ensure you’re connected to a stable internet connection.
How Long Does Mpesa Withdrawal Take?
Mpesa reversal usually does not take a long time. It usually takes about 24 hours but in some instances, your M-Pesa reversal will take up to 48 hours.
You must exercise patience since the reversal process is not as straightforward as you may think.
